A narrativa breve de Júlio Dinis

Abstract

This work studies the short narrative by Júlio Dinis. It starts by studying the issue of novella and short story in the nineteenth century context. After, it identifies and characterizes, in the short narrative, the feminine presence, the morality, the social and physical space. Finally, it shows, in the short narrative, common elements to all narrative work by Júlio Dinis.

Este trabalho estuda a narrativa breve de Júlio Dinis. Começa com a análise da questão da novela e do conto no contexto de século dezanove. Depois, identifica e caracteriza, na narrativa breve, a presença feminina, a moralidade, bem como o espaço físico e social. Por fim, evidencia, na narrativa breve, elementos comuns ao conjunto da obra narrativa do autor.
