Abstract

O estudo aqui apresentado tem como principal nalidade recorrer ao design para o desenvolvimento da educação socio emocional, com o objetivo de promover o bem-estar pessoal e interpessoal. Numa sociedade atual da informação onde o saber fazer é um fator identi cador do ensino, identi ca-se que o saber ser apresenta diversos dé ces, nomeadamente no desenvolvimento do ser humano enquanto cidadão completo. Nesse sentido, apresenta-se uma proposta de um jogo em que o foco é o desenvolvimento emocional positivo das crianças. Assim, o jogo tem como nalidade ajudar crianças, com idades entre os 8 e os 10 anos que se encontram numa fase de pré-adolescência, a identi carem e aprenderem a lidar com as diferentes emoções em si próprios e nos seus pares. O design desempenha aqui um papel primordial, pois facilita a utilização de uma linguagem expressiva e visual, com um alto teor estético, onde a interpretação é intuitiva e estimulante. Deste modo, este jogo tem como referência os jogos analógicos de tabuleiro e cartões, onde os jogadores interagem entre eles por meio de regras que estimulam a interatividade interpessoal e social, bem como o respeito pelo outro.

The study presented here is primarily intended to appeal to design the development of social emotional education, in order to promote personal and interpersonal well-being. A current information society where know-how is an identi er factor of education, it is a fact that knowledge presents several de cits, including the development of human beings as full citizens. In this sense, this study serves as a proposal for a game in which the focus is on positive emotional development of children. The game is intended to help children, aged between 8 and 10 years who are almost teenagers, to identify and learn how to deal with di erent emotions in themselves and in their peers. The design plays a major role, because it makes the use of an expressive and visual language with a high aesthetic content, where the interpretation is intuitive and exciting. Thus, this game makes reference to the analog board games, where players interact with each other through rules that encourage interpersonal and social interaction as well as respect for others.
