Luz natural na fotografia

Abstract

Este relatório tem como finalidade expôr o trabalho desenvolvido no estágio curricular de cinco meses da aluna Rafaela Lopes, estudante de Mestrado em Criação Artística Contemporânea, na Universidade de Aveiro. A empresa acolhedora foi Filipe Cruz Photography, situada na Forca, Aveiro. Apresenta-se aqui o resultado da participação em vários projetos realizados durante o tempo de estágio, referindo as ferramentas, técnicas e métodos utilizados, e os respetivos resultados. Os projetos em que tive colaboração incluíram a paginação de um book fotográfico, a participação em seis sessões fotográficas com o fotógrafo, a paginação de oito álbuns de fotografias, o restauro de uma imagem antiga, e ainda uma sessão de fotografia de produto e uma sessão de fotografia de exterior, nas quais não tive a presença do fotógrafo, usando para isso as técnicas adquiridas durante o estágio. Paralelamente, foi também desenvolvido um projeto pessoal, no qual é explorada a fotografia usando apenas a luz natural e disponível. É também aqui apresentado um artigo científico sobre o trabalho da fotógrafa retratista Annie Leibovitz, explorando principalmente o seu projeto “Pilgrimage”, onde predomina a fotografia com luz natural.

This report discusses the work produced during the five months internship at Filipe Cruz Photography, by Rafaela Lopes, a student enrolled at the master programme on Contemporary Art Studio offered at Aveiro University. Filipe Cruz Photography is located at Forca, Aveiro. This internship involved the participation in various projects that gave the opportunity to get in touch with the use of different tools, techniques and methods. In this report are described the outcomes of this projects. The projects in which I collaborated included the layout and design of a Photo Book, the participation in six photo sessions with the photographer, layout and design of eight photo albums, the restoration of an old picture, and a product photo shoot and a photography session outdoors, working independently with the skills acquired during the internship. At the same time, was also developed a personal project, in which was explored photography using only natural and available light. It is also presented here a paper on the work of portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz, mainly exploring her "Pilgrimage" project, in which predominates the photography with natural light.
