Abstract

O presente trabalho pretende compreender o modo como um grupo de crianças de cinco anos se apropria da prática de alguns jogos tradicionais, introduzidos pelos adultos no quotidiano de um jardim de infância, como recursos de formação pessoal e social. A análise da composição social do grupo de crianças, a caracterização do contexto institucional e a observação participante das interacções sociais quotidianas entre crianças, em momentos de transição, permitiu compreender como as crianças constituem, sob olhar e governo dos adultos, mundos sociais próprios, em que a reprodução e interpretação das regras que lhes são ensinadas são utilizadas como meios de regulação de processos de inclusão e exclusão entre pares. ABSTRACT: This present research studies how children with five years old take part of traditional games, who are daily introduced by the adult in the school, as resources of personal and social formation. The analysis of the social compose of children group, the context characterization of the school and also the participant observation of the daily social interactions of children, in different moments of transition, can make us understand how children construct, under protection and adults observation, them own society worlds, which the reproduction and interpretation of the rules by them knowledge are used by them as setting of pairs inclusion and exclusion process.
