Abstract

Descripción: En el curso, el estudiante, a partir de algunas categorías básicas del análisis literario, analiza textos literarios de distintos géneros con la finalidad de establecer conclusiones justificadas sobre la visión crítica que estos plantean sobre una determinada realidad social y cultural. Esto supone asumir que el texto literario es un discurso que revela las tensiones entre el individuo y la sociedad. Propósito: Literatura y Sociedad es un curso obligatorio de la carrera de Traducción e Interpretación Profesional dirigido a alumnos de segundo ciclo. El curso desarrolla la competencia general Pensamiento Crítico y la competencia específica de la carrera Interculturalidad, ambas en nivel uno. El curso tiene como prerrequisito a Comprensión y Producción de Lenguaje 1. El curso Literatura y Sociedad es una asignatura especialmente útil, pues permite que los estudiantes realicen una reflexión profunda sobre un uso estético del lenguaje y porque desarrolla en ellos una visión crítica y permanentemente cuestionadora de la sociedad y la cultura actual, elemento valioso para el profesional de la carrera de Traducción e Interpretación Profesional.
