Medical Professionalism

Abstract

Medicine is an ever-changing science. Since this book was first published in 2006, there have been major advances in many aspects of medicine. In this second edition, medical cases, diagnostic approaches and treatment modalities have been brought up to date, in keeping with advances in medical science. Chapters on respiratory medicine have been thoroughly revised and strengthened to reflect the most current information in the field. New topics in medical case management, such as emerging controversies in medical ethics and issues of professional conduct are covered. Problem-Based Medical Case Management primarily provides a compact and essential aid for medical students preparing for their examinations in general medicine. Practising doctors will also find this book useful in their day-to-day practice and when preparing for case presentation.
