Abstract

Las transformaciones en los campos: económico, político, cultural, social, tecnológico, ambiental y laboral, así como la mundialización de los conflictos que surgen por diversos motivos, exigen cambios sustanciales en los procesos educativos, y por consiguiente, en la formación de las personas. En esta tarea es importante la contribución que ofrece la investigación educativa, motivo por el cual los días 1,2,3 y 4 de febrero se llevó a cabo el Congreso Internacional de Investigación Educativa “Investigar para transformar” en el marco de la conmemoración el 25 aniversario del Instituto de Investigación en Educación de la Universidad de Costa Rica (antiguo IIMEC). El Congreso tiene como propósito valorar, compartir y analizar investigaciones en el campo de la educación formal y no formal y su impacto en la transformación de los procesos educativos que contribuyan al desarrollo humano integral y a la construcción de una sociedad justa, solidaria, participativa y democrática. En este evento académico se valoró la pertinencia de la investigación en los procesos educativos, se crearon espacios de encuentro para promover el diálogo entre los diferentes actores de la educación, se incentivó la investigación de aula como uno de los ejes para el cambio de la práctica pedagógica, se reflexionó sobre las transformaciones educativas desde una perspectiva organizacional y se generaron propuestas para la transformación de la educación. En el Congreso se contó con la participación de investigadoras e investigadores nacionales y de otras naciones: México, Brasil, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela y Estados Unidos.

ABSTRACT: Transformations in the fields: economic, political, cultural, social, technological, environmental and labor, as well as the globalization of conflicts that arise for various reasons, require substantial changes in educational processes, and consequently, in the formation of characters In this task, the contribution offered by educational research is important, which is why on February 1, 2, 3 and 4 the International Congress of Educational Research "Investigate to transform" was held within the framework of the commemoration the 25th anniversary of the Institute for Research in Education of the University of Costa Rica (former IIMEC). The purpose of the Congress is to assess, share and analyze research in the field of formal and non-formal education and its impact on the transformation of educational processes that contribute to integral human development and the construction of a just, supportive, participatory and democratic society. . In this academic event, the relevance of research in educational processes was valued, meeting spaces were created to promote dialogue between the different actors in education, classroom research was encouraged as one of the axes for changing practice. educational transformations were reflected on from an organizational perspective and proposals for the transformation of education were generated. National researchers and researchers from other nations participated in the Congress: Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States.
