Este fascículo contempla únicamente algunos de los muchos factores que tienen una estrecha relación con el desarrollo motor y psicológico del niño. Señala que los logros motores del niño vienen dados en gran parte por la maduración, entendiendo por ésta los procesos de crecimiento físico que dan lugar a conductas determinadas que sueles ser comunes para todos los seres humanos y que dependiendo de las condiciones ambientales sufren adelantos o limitaciones.
