El presente artículo muestra el proceso creativo en movimiento dancístico y escritura por parte de un grupo de personas adultas mayores del cantón de San Ramón y describe los principales elementos subjetivos presentes en las obras artísticas realizadas por las y los participantes. Este proyecto buscó aproximarse a la relación entre la creación artística y la construcción autobiográfica, explorando el movimiento y la palabra como elementos que tienen un efecto sobre el cuerpo, el discurso y la historia personal. Del proceso se concluye que la creación artística posibilita a las personas adultas mayores recorrer y resignificar pasajes de vida y que esto impacta directamente en la imagen de sí, sus discursos y la manera de moverse en su presente.

This article shows the creative process in dance movement and writing by a group of elderly people from the San Ramon canton and describes the main subjective elements present in the artistic works created by the participants. The project sought to approach the relationship between artistic creation and autobiographical construction, exploring movement and the word as elements that have an effect on the body, speech, and personal story. From the process, it is concluded that artistic creation enables elder adults to travel and re-signify life passages and that this directly impacts their self-image, their speeches, and their way of moving in their present.
