El presente estudio sociolingüístico ofrece un análisis del léxico de los estudiantes de la Sede de Guanacaste de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Dicho estudio desarrollará los distintos aspectos semánticos utilizados por los jóvenes de esta institución como eufemismos, disfemismos, humorismo, antífrasis, sinonimias, metaforización y marcas. Esto con el propósito de conocer los términos que identifican una comunidad lingüísticamente definida.
