En el presente artículo se realiza una revisión bibliográfica cuyo objetivo es indagar el papel de las emociones positivas dentro de la Psicología Positiva. En una primera parte se realiza un acercamiento al surgimiento y fundamentos de esta rama de la psicología, para después adentrarnos en el desarrollo de las emociones positivas, y poder conocer las raíces de la Psicología Positiva. Posteriormente, se realiza un recorrido por las principales emociones positivas encontradas, tales como: el optimismo, la resiliencia, el flow, la felicidad, la creatividad, el humor, y la inteligencia emocional. Por último, se revisan las principales críticas que ha suscitado este reciente modelo de psicología positiva y se discuten sus perspectivas a futuro.
This article presents a literature review aimed to investigate the role of positive emotions in Positive Psychology. The first part is an approach to the emergence and foundations of this branch of psychology; then it moves into the development of positive emotions and to know the roots of Positive Psychology. Later, it is made an exploration on the main positive emotions such as optimism, resilience, flow, happiness, creativity, humor, and emotional intelligence. Finally, the main criticism on this new model of positive psychology is reviewed as well as its future perspectives.
