Objetivo: Evaluar la psicopatología más frecuente en niños que tengan de 6 a 10 años de edad que tengan antecedente de prematurez. Métodos: Estudio de corte. Pacientes tomados de la base de datos del servicio de Neuropediatria de prematurez, los cuales asisten a consulta de dicho servicio regidos por el protocolo de niños prematuros establecido en el Hospital Militar Central, escogiéndose los pacientes entre 6 a 10 años, a quienes se les realizó la escala de comportamiento de Achenbach. Resultados: Se tomaron 62 pacientes escolares (26 niñas), con antecedente de prematurez (media edad gestacional 33,84 semanas, mínimo 25, máximo 36), en los que se encontró a partir de la escala de Achenbach, mayor frecuencia de síndromes internalizantes, el más frecuente fue somatización, seguido por Trastorno deficitario de la atención e hiperactividad (TDAH). No se encontró correlación estadísticamente significativa con los factores de riesgo estudiados. Conclusiones: Los pacientes con antecedente de prematurez requieren seguimiento neuropsicológico–psiquiátrico para prevenir trastornos comportamentales encontrados frecuentemente en dicha población, como los son las quejas somáticas, TDAH y trastorno desafiante.
Aim: To value the most frequent psicopatolgy in six to ten years old children who were premature. Methods: Cross sectional study. Patient from neurology pediatric database, which assist to medical visit according to the premature childbirth protocol in the Central Military Hospital. We took the patient who has between 6 to 10 years old, and each one answered the Achenbach behavior child scale. Results: We studied 62 school patients (26 girls) with a history of prematurity (gestational age mean 33.84 weeks, minimum 25, maximum 36), in which it was found from the Achenbach scale, a higher frequency of internalizing syndromes, the most frequent was somatization, followed by ADHD. No statistically significant correlation with risk factors studied was found. Conclusion: Patients with a history of prematurity require neuropsychological follow - psychiatric disorders found to prevent behavioral frequently in this population, as are somatic complaints, ADHD and defiant disorder.
