Abstract

Con este proyecto me baso en la escultura como lenguaje plástico a través del cual establezco un paralelismo entre la función del objeto a partir del molde y de la identidad a partir del modelo. Trabajo con el cuerpo femenino equiparando el concepto de mercancía a la mujer, donde el cuerpo, sistemáticamente cosificado, se convierte en valor de cambio dentro de la sociedad capitalista y patriarcal. Apropiándome del concepto de trofeo cinegético, y utilizando los senos como representaciones del individuo al que pertenecen, planteo un símil entre el la mujer y el animal que es cazado y exhibido por el hombre.Todo ello utilizando el cromatismo blanco como predominante y representante de la pureza, llevando a cabo un tratamiento del color de manera que la obra se percibe en un primer momento como un gesto contundente que, a menor distancia, permite apreciar la sutileza de cambios en brillos, mates y gamas tonales.
