Herbario futuro

Abstract

“Herbario Futuro” es un proyecto enmarcado en la asignatura de “TFG” (Trabajo Fin de Grado) que explora, a través de 16 fotografías realizadas con escaner, la relación entre la humanidad y la naturaleza, específicamente la manera en que el ser humano ha domesticado y modificado su entorno natural para adaptarlo a sus necesidades y deseos lo que, según la premisa de la que parte esta obra, acabará con la naturaleza salvaje. Por ello, también se incluye una crítica hacia el deseo insaciable de posesión por parte de la humanidad, así como su pretensión de ejercer un papel divino, y se señala el impacto perjudicial de estas acciones en el medio ambiente. Para la representación de esta idea, se ha creado una especie de “herbario del futuro” utilizando recursos relacionados con la botánica, especialmente inspirada en su estudio en el siglo XVIII y XIX pero llevado a la contemporaneidad y se ha creado una nueva flora utilizando fragmentos tanto de flores reales como de otras de plástico para, a continuación, dejar constancia de su existencia como si de vegetales reales se tratase.
