Abstract

Today, we conceived the idea of the protective effect of rich fruit consumption In bioactive compounds for health as beneficial, and components with a great potential in the prevention of certain disorders have been identified. Therefore, the composition and antioxidant capacity of cranberries justify their role in the reduction of inflammation and oxidative stress, processes highly related not only to the development of cancer, but also to the consequences of the therapies associated with it. In this way, both this fruit and its compounds in pharmacological formulations have been incorporated into the diet through different dietary supplements.
