Gnoza i neognoza romantyków polskich. Studium o myśli Adama Mickiewicza, Zygmunta Krasińskiego, Augusta Cieszkowskiego i innych twórców

Abstract

The thesis consists of four main parts. In the introduction I presented the main definitions and state of research. The second part of the thesis treats about Adama Mickiewicz’s spiritual visions contained in Dziady, Zdania i uwagi and others poems. The third part of the dissertation contains the analysis and comparison of Zygmunt Krasiński’s Gnosis with Historic critique du gnosticisme by Jacques Matter. I also presented the influence of gnostic and neognostic ideas on August Cieszkowski’s concepts. In the fourth part I presented the problem of religiosity in Henri-Frédéric Amiel, Józef Czapski and Czesław Miłosz’s literary works. The considerations contained in the thesis are mainly carried out on theoretical grounds, so the dissertation has an opening character and shows new perspectives of interpretation religious visions contained in romantic authors’ oeuvres.

Dysertacja składa się z czterech części. We wstępie prezentuję główne definicje i opisuję stan badań. Druga część rozprawy doktorskiej dotyczy wizji religijnych zawartych w Dziadach, Zdaniach i uwagi i innych dziełach Adama Mickiewicza. Trzecia część obejmuje analizę i porównanie Gnosis Zygmunta Krasińskiego z Historic critique du gnosticisme Jacquesa Mattera.
