Abstract

SMEs are the engine of the Colombian economy, representing a high percentage of GDP and formal jobs in Colombia. However, they face limitations due to lack of resources, financial education and access to bank loans. These aspects mentioned above are the key to this company's growth and development. For this reason, implementing a digital transformation process can be complicated. In this sense, having a reference framework to assess the state of digital maturity of SMEs will provide a diagnosis that facilitates the definition of roadmaps for digital transformation plans. In response, it is proposed to design and develop a telematic application capable of assessing the digital maturity in an SME in terms of the use of technology, for this, the essential elements for a digital transformation maturity model must be structured, so two models will be made; the first general one based on dimensions and the second one based on processes, in addition to designing and developing a web application.
