Abstract

Se han establecido métodos analíticos que permiten de una manera rápida, sensible y precisa, determinar de manera conjunta tres importantes glucocorticoies como son dexametasona, hidrocortisona y prednisolona a los que se asocian diferentes principios activos en productos farmaceúticos comerciales de uso tópico. Estos principios activos son de tres tipos: antiinfecciosos como polimixina b, bacitracina, oxitetraciclina, sulfacetamida y nistatina; farmacos con efectos sobre el sistema nervioso autónomo como fenilefrina y nafazolina y anestésicos locales como lidocaína. Para la resolución de estas mezclas se han utilizado dos tipos de técnicas: por una parte técnicas espectrofotométricas basadas en la espectrofotometría derivada y en la calibración multivariante: pls (regresión por mínimos cuadrados parciales) y pcr (regresión del componente principal), y por otra, técnicas de separación basadas en la electroforesis capilar, más concretamente la denominada cromatografía electrocinética micelar (mekc). Se han aportado métodos validos que pueden ser usados en laboratorios de control farmacéutico aplicándose dichos métodos a la cuantificación de los principios activos anteriores presentes en diferentes preparados de uso tópico tales como colirios, suspensiones bucales, pomadas dérmicas y oculares y pastillas de aplicación bucofaríngea. Los resultados obtenidos han sido excelentes en la mayoría de los casos.
