Abstract

En el presente trabajo se han estudiado y optimizado las principales variables de síntesis de silicatos sódicos cristalinos laminares para su uso en detergentes. La síntesis de dichos silicatos se llevo a cabo en régimen discontinuo en un horno mufla, tanto a partir de silicato amorfo solido y en disolución, además, se sintetizo el &-na2si2o5 en régimen continuo en un horno tubular rotatorio. Los diferentes productos de cristalización obtenidos fueron caracterizados por diferentes técnicas analíticas como drx, sem, tga, atd, bet y medida de la capacidad fijadora de iones ca2+ y mg2+. Se demostró que la fase alfa es termodinámicamente más estable que la fase delta, estando favorecida a altas temperaturas y altos tiempos de cristalización. Además no posee ninguna propiedad fijadora. Asimismo, se realizo una evaluación económica aproximada de los distintos métodos de síntesis estudiados y por último, se realizo un estudio sobre la capacidad fijadora de los iones ca2+ y mag2+ del &-na2si2o5, observándose que dicha capacidad se ve favorecida con la temperatura y que dicho silicato es más selectivo hacia el ion mg2+.
