New narratives have become a way to create attractive and interactive information for the user. The sections that deal with economic issues in the media have gained increasing strength, given the current context. The large amount of data that is handled has given rise to several professional figures, such as the data journalist and the person in charge of visualizing that data. In this area, new narratives play a fundamental role. In this way, the difficulty represented by economic jargon and technicality has led the Economic Journalism subject of the Degree in Journalism at the University of Castilla-La Mancha to try to innovate in the teaching-learning of this subject.
