Abstract

La tesis doctoral se centra en el Diseño Óptimo de Experimentos (DOE), una disciplina joven que en los últimos tiempos está experimentando un enorme desarrollo, jugando un papel fundamental en los campos de la ciencia y la tecnología. El objetivo principal es seleccionar condiciones experimentales que maximicen la ganancia de información a un costo mínimo en tiempo y recursos. En el contexto de la identificación de sistemas en ingeniería, el diseño de la señal de entrada es fundamental para la precisión en la estimación de parámetros del modelo matemático que describe el comportamiento de dicho sistema. El objetivo de esta tesis consiste en abordar la problemática de la identificación de sistemas desde la perspectiva del DOE. Se desarrollan algoritmos para resolver problemas de estimación de parámetros bajo el criterio de D- optimización, adaptando el algoritmo REX para diseños aproximados y el algoritmo KL para diseños exactos. Se abordará el problema del diseño óptimo para caracterizar el comportamiento eléctrico de varios sistemas mediante la espectroscopía de impedancia (EI), una técnica que mide la resistencia de un sistema a la corriente eléctrica en función de la frecuencia. Esta tesis busca contribuir al avance de la disciplina y aplicar estas herramientas al estudio de sistemas, como materiales, interfaces o tejidos biológicos, mediante la EI.
