El comportamiento electoral multinivel en un contexto de cambio en España (2011-2019): tipología territorial y política en los municipios de Castilla-La Mancha y Región de Murcia

Abstract

El estudio geográfico del fenómeno electoral constituye una temática de escaso desarrollo en el conocimiento interdisciplinar de la situación sociopolítica en España (2011-2019). El tratamiento del objeto de las elecciones se ha orientado hacia las bases de la Sociología Política para exponer las claves explicativas de los resultados extraídos en las urnas. En el marco de esta investigación, se procede a la identificación, tipificación, caracterización y comparación de la concentración territorial del voto porcentual en el máximo detalle territorial posible, representado por la escala municipal. Estas unidades de trabajo están integradas en dos casos de estudio agregados: Castilla- La Mancha y Región de Murcia. La metodología exploratoria para la obtención de resultados empíricos se fundamenta en la aplicación del método clúster o de conglomerados (K-medias). Con esta técnica, se efectúa un análisis multivariante de datos en formato diacrónico o evolutivo en función de la tipología electoral en la España multinivel: generales, autonómicas y locales. Las variables restantes son de carácter económico y educativo, que, en conjunción con las variables de voto a candidaturas políticas, demuestran la existencia de perfiles municipales diversificados en el contexto del lugar, concepto utilizado en estudios sociológicos, politológicos y geográficos.
