Oxidación de terpenos oxigenados en cámaras de simulación atmosférica.

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en la reactividad en fase gaseosa de compuestos orgánicos volátiles de origen antropogénico y biogénico con radical hidroxilo y cloro atómico. Concretamente, y siendo el objetivo principal de este trabajo, se han estudiado las reacciones de 1,8-cineol, borneol, fenchol, alcanfor, fenchona y mentol, que son terpenos oxigenados que son emitidos tanto de forma antropogénica como biogénica. Para realizar este estudio ha sido necesario emplear sistemas experimentales no convencionales, que han requerido del montaje y puesta a punto de los mismos. Concretamente, se han montado una célula multipaso ftir y se ha adaptado a estudios cinéticos en fase gaseosa. También, se ha montado una cámara ambiental o smog con detección mediante cromatografía de gases con detección de masas y detección mediante ionización de llama. Para la optimización de los sistemas se han estudiado reacciones de compuestos estructural y funcionalmente similares a los terpenos oxigenados (tetrahidropirano, ciclohexanol, metilciclohexano, cis-1,4-dimetilciclohexano, trans-1,4-dimetilciclohexano y 1,3,5-trimetilciclohexano) con radical hidroxilo y cloro atómico. Por último, se han completado los estudios con una serie de experimentos realizados en los sistemas experimentales de la universidad de wuppertal (alemania) en los que se han obtenido las dependencias con la temperatura de las constantes de velocidad de reacción de propeno y 1-buteno con cloro atómico y de 1,8-cineol con radical hidroxilo y cloro atómico. Finalmente, y como complemento, se han realizado una serie de cálculos ab initio de los diferentes canales de reacción.
