Abstract

Se intenta poner de relieve la utilización práctica, real, de los archivos, centrándose prioritariamente en el periodo cronológico de la Edad Moderna, y poniendo particular énfasis en el mundo rural de la provincia de Toledo. Se analizan las principales áreas de conocimiento susceptibles de ser estudiadas, son: población, economía, sociedad, cultura y mentalidades.
