Abstract

Vivimos tiempos convulsos para la educación provocada por los vaivenes legislativos, la crisis económica y el vertiginoso cambio cultural que se ha producido en la sociedad en general, y en la población infanto-juvenil en particular. Esta situación ha generado la necesidad de forjar un cambio educativo integral, tanto desde el punto de vista metodológico como desde la gestión integral de los centros educativos. Así, el objetivo de este estudio ha sido el de evaluar una de las formas más comunes de adaptación a estos nuevos tiempos, el Aprendizaje Cooperativo. Para ello, se ha tomado como muestra una red de colegios (La Salle-Madrid), concretamente, 2088 niños de 3º y 4º curso de ESO. Los datos, de carácter cuantitativo y cualitativo, fueron recogidos a través de un cuestionario, durante 3 cursos consecutivos. Los resultados indicaron que a los estudiantes les gusta y motiva, y que todos son conscientes de los beneficios pedagógicos que implica. Sin embargo, también se constató que el transcurso del tiempo por sí sólo, no es garantía suficiente para asegurar una mejora progresiva en la percepción de los estudiantes requiriendo un seguimiento y una formación específica por parte de los docentes, y atender a las sugerencias ofrecidas por parte de los alumnos.
