Las relaciones laborales en Alemania

Abstract

Esta monografía presenta un estudio sobre el sistema de relaciones laborales en Alemania. Tras una breve referencia a los factores políticos, económicos y sociales más relevantes del país, y la repercusión del proceso de unificación alemán, se centra de lleno en el conocimiento de la situación actual. Para ello se aborda, en primer lugar, el análisis del marco jurídico-laboral, haciendo especial hincapié en las siguientes materias: la representación y participación de los trabajadores en la empresa, la resolución de los conflictos colectivos y la extinción de los contratos de trabajo. En segundo lugar, se analizan los orígenes, estructura, estrategias y objetivos de las principales organizaciones sindicales y empresariales. Por último, se abordan las características y el contenido de la negociación colectiva y su importancia como soporte del denominado "modelo alemán" de relaciones laborales. Esta monografía es la primera de una serie de cuatro sobre la relaciones laborales en distintos países europeos: Alemania, Francia, Italia y el Reino Unido.
