Ambientes híbridos de aprendizaje

Abstract

Desde la línea de reflexión y trabajo sociocultural, entroncada en los aportes de Vigostky (2000), no existe aprendizaje al margen del contexto donde se aloja el proceso; esto es, el entorno educativo no es un decorado sin más alrededor de quien aprende -y de quien enseña-, sino parte de su explicación y su motor de desarrollo; no hay aprendizaje en abstracto: se aprende en un contexto que define las limitaciones y posibilidades de desarrollo. ¿Cómo esta idea sustancial puede tener cabida al pensar la relación entre la educación y la tecnología en la actualidad?. La respuesta a la interrogante anterior parte de la comprensión de un pequeño, pero significativo giro en la concepción de la respuesta a la pregunta clásica con que se entiende el uso de la tecnología en educación: ¿con qué aprender? Cuando se emplea algún dispositivo conectado a alguna aplicación en red, web, plataforma, motor de búsqueda o servicio de alojamiento en internet, lo que se añade al proceso no es únicamente una herramienta con la cual educar, como un libro o la televisión, sino que con internet se delimita un entorno de acción y representación que se solapa al contexto desde donde se conecta quien busca aprender o enseñar.
