Estudio de la historia de usos del territorio de Petrer y la valorización de sus recursos naturales, agrícolas y culturales, acorde con los requerimientos de las actuales directrices de ordenación territorial. En este sentido, los objetivos de la Unión Europea se dirigen principalmente a definir una nueva política de cohesión territorial, social y económica. El análisis detallado de la dinámica del paisaje se convierte de este modo en una herramienta eficaz para la planificación estratégica de actuaciones en el municipio, que favorezcan la aplicación, entre otros, del Convenio Europeo del Paisaje, de la Ley del Suelo, de la Directiva Marco del Agua, de la Ley de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental de proyectos y de la Ley de Ordenación del Territorio y Protección del Paisaje de la Generalitat Valenciana.

Study of the history of uses of the territory of Petrer and the valorisation of its natural, agricultural and cultural resources, in accordance with the requirements of the current land-use planning guidelines. In this sense, the objectives of the European Union are mainly aimed at defining a new policy of territorial, social and economic cohesion. The detailed analysis of the dynamics of the landscape thus becomes an effective tool for the strategic planning of actions in the municipality, favouring the application of, among others, the European Landscape Convention, the Land Law, the Water Framework Directive, the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment of projects and the Law on Spatial Planning and Landscape Protection of the Generalitat Valenciana.
