La posmemoria vasca bifurcada en Navarra

Abstract

La «novela de posmemoria» es una fórmula que aplica a la literatura un término acuñado por Marianne Hirsch para referirse a la respuesta por parte de generaciones subsiguientes a los traumas padecidos por la generación protagonista de un evento histórico como el Holocausto. En las primeras páginas de su último libro, The Generation of Postmemory, Marianne Hirsch reflexiona acerca de los diversos caminos que las segundas y terceras generaciones toman para convertir el pasado heredado en historia y en mito. Las representaciones estudiadas por Hirsch dan cuenta de la posmemoria del Holocausto judío, un importante fenómeno cultural que se ha extendido desde lo literario a la fotografía, el cine documental, el arte de la performance, el libro ilustrado o la museología y que influye como paradigma de todas las memorias traumáticas.
