Las empresas han utilizado diversas herramientas que permiten que los operarios contribuyan al proceso de innovación. Entre los instrumentos de mejora continua más usados podemos destacar los sistemas de sugerencias tanto individuales como en grupo. Haremos un repaso de las principales características de ambos sistemas, analizando qué resultados se derivan de la implantación de estos sistemas, cuál de los dos sistemas es más beneficioso para la empresa y qué problemas surgen durante el funcionamiento de estos programas. Utilizaremos datos de 5 años de una empresa industrial. Ambos programas han demostrado ser provechosos para la empresa, aunque las posibilidades de los sistemas de grupo parecen ser mayores. Companies have used various tools to allow workers to be involved in an innovation process. Among the most widely-used continuous improvement tools are the individual or group suggestion systems. We will summarize the main characteristics of both systems and how to implement them, analyzing what are the outcomes, which of the two systems is more profitable for the companies, and what problems arise during the use of these programs. We will present the case study of a manufacturing company where a system of continuous improvement has been used for five years. Both programs have proved to be very profitable for the company. However, the benefits of the group suggestion systems seem to be greater.
