Abstract

Tesi doctoral basada en un projecte interdisciplinari d'investigació on el propòsit de la tesi doctoral és l'estudi biogràfic plural inserit en les noves perspectives historiogràfiques del compositor valencià Josep Melcior Gomis (1791-1836) inserint-lo en el context modernitzador del nou Estat-Liberal però estudiant les capacitats de transgressió i radicalitat que el subjecte i el seu anhel biogràfic té davant del context i la societat. A més, es treballa l'anàlisi de la seva obra creativa, la transcripció de les seves partitures més dels diferents discursos de la música com a element col·lectiu identitari i els seus problemes historiogràfics. A més, la tesi doctoral estudia la identitat narrativa del compositor valencià en el context europeu fins a principis del segle XX. Josep Melcior Gomis, a més d'haver estat considerat un valencià il·lustre pels nostres avantpassats, actualment segueix sent un patrimoni quasi ignot per a la historiografia i la musicologia.

Doctoral dissertation based on an interdisciplinary research project where the purpose of the thesis is to study the biographical plural inserted into the new historiographical perspectives Valencian composer Josep Melcior Gomis (1791-1836) by inserting it into the modernizing context of the new state-Liberal but studying capabilities and radical transgression the subject and biographical desire has to context and society. In addition, analysis of their creative work, the transcript of his scores in addition to the various speeches of music as a collective identity element and its historiographical problems working. In addition, the doctoral thesis studies the narrative identity of the Valencian composer in the European context to the early twentieth century. Josep Melcior Gomis, in addition to being considered a Valencian illustrious by our ancestors, currently remains a quasi unknown heritage for historiography and musicology.
