Inscripción del Obispo Anesio, atribuída erróneamente a Justiniano

Abstract

In 1905 a fragmentary inscription appeared in the Plaza de la Almoina of Valencia, the text of which was thoroughly restored by F. Fita. This approach, that has been generally accepted, ascribed the inscription to Justinianus. After verifying the preserved rests, the author of the article propases a new reading in accordance with that, the inscription must be attributed to the bishop Anesius. The inscription refers to the restoration carried out in the old Cathedral of Valencia.
