Razonamiento moral y empatía

Abstract

Function that exercises the cognition and the affection in the morality has been a topic of debate across the centuries. In the latter decades, the study of the moral development has guided by the psychological dominant theories: the theory of Kohlberg's cognitive development and the theory of Hoffman's moral socialization. For Kohlberg, the cognition is the foundation of the morality, whereas Hoffman highlights the paper of the sharm and of the empathy in the moral behavior, especially the altruistic behavior. There is contributed in this work an empirical study realized in teen population, with the aim to verify the relation between the emotional and cognitive aspects of the empathy with the moral reasoning.
