LAS ARTES DECORATIVAS ESPAÑOLAS DE LAS PRIMERAS DECADAS DEL SIGLO VEINTE TUVIERON UN GRAN DESARROLLO, EN EL QUE HAY QUE SITUAR LA CERAMICA ESCULTURAL DE ANTONIO PEYRO MEZQUITA. ESTE CERAMISTA CASTELLONENSE SE DISTINGUIO POR SU PERSONAL MODELADO DE LAS FIGURAS, LA ESPLENDIDA DECORACION Y EL RICO COLORIDO DE SUS OBRAS. ANTONIO PEYRO FUE UN CERAMISTA QUE RECIBIO NUMEROSOS RECONOCIMIENTOS POR SU TRABAJO EN LAS MAS IMPORTANTES EXPOSICIONES NACIONALES DE BELLAS ARTES, Y EN LAS FERIAS EUROPEAS.
