Des-naturalitzant el cos, trajectòries dels estudis sociològics sobre corporalitats socials

Abstract

L’epistemologia feminista ens ha ensenyat que el valor que li reconeixem a una ciència no depén, intrínsecament, de la seua potencialitat explicativa de la realitat, sinó que aquest obeeix també a les estructures i relacions de poder en les quals els marcs de coneixement es veuen immersos (Fox Keller, 1995). Aquesta afirmació seria aplicable, així mateix, a les àrees d’interès en què s’estructura una disciplina científica i també ho seria a les preguntes que, des d’aquests camps, es consideren pertinents i necessàries. En aquest capítol pretenem desvelar les coordenades que han operat en els silencis que la sociologia ha dedicat a l’anàlisi dels cossos, en un intent de justificar la pertinença del gir crític que COSiDES, en tant que grup d’investigació, proposa com a aproximació a l’estudi sociològic de les corporalitats socials.
