Authors: Milla Ibáñez, Jorge Juan;

Beneficios fiscales en las tasas locales

Abstract

Abstract: This study delves into the tax benefits associated with local taxes, a crucial aspect of municipal tax legislation in Spain. It explores how the principles of legality and equivalence, along with economic capacity, influence the application of exemptions, bonuses, and other forms of tax relief on local rates. The delineation of rates against other tax revenues is examined, and relevant case law illustrating the application of tax benefits is discussed. The analysis highlights the importance of balancing efficient revenue collection with tax fairness and the promotion of sustainable and socially responsible practices at the local level.
