In this research work, an analysis of the tools that are applied in the forensic investigation of road accidents was carried out, in order to identify a methodology for the characterization of the concentration sections. To this end, a theoretical review was carried out on the techniques for identifying hot spots and/or sections used in studies that we took as reference. The contribution sought is to provide the institutions and organizations competent in the subject of road accidents and their forensic investigation, a tool to identify the sections or sectors that are priority, to motivate and urge the implementation of actions to promote of road safety. To this end, theoretical aspects were addressed regarding the situation of road accidents, the criminological and forensic science contribution of those factors involved and variables that emerge in this brief tour, to arrive at the methodology suggested as a possible tool that assists the actions in response to the problem.
