Abstract

El Real Cuerpo de Ingenieros militares fue uno de los organismos más sobresalientes al servicio de la monarquía hispana. Su creación en 1711 brindó a la nación de una compañía de élite, especialmente preparada, que velaría por su protección en un siglo marcado por numerosas disputas territoriales. Con este trabajo se pretende presentar a uno de los ingenieros militares más destacados de cuantos formaron parte de su plantilla, Luis Huet y Lambert. A través de un pormenorizado análisis biográfico y profesional se detallan cada una de las variadas comisiones asumidas durante su prolija carrera.
