Abstract

Se presentan los resultados del estudio de materiales del sector de necrópolis arcaica localizada en las intervenciones que tuvieron lugar en 2008 en el solar comprendido entre los números 25-27 de la calle Santo Domingo y 12-16 de la calle Mirador, intramuros de la ciudad de Cádiz. Se han estudiado los materiales cerámicos, los objetos de adorno y las joyas, y se han analizado los restos orgánicos, tanto los restos óseos humanos procedentes de las cremaciones como los restos óseos animales (de mamíferos y peces), las maderas carbonizadas y los frutos.

This paper presents the results of the study of the materials from the archaic necropolis sector located in the interventions that took place in 2008 in the site located between numbers 25-27 of Santo Domingo street and 12-16 of Mirador street, within the walls of the city of Cadiz. The ceramic materials, ornamental objects and jewelry have been studied, and the organic remains have been analyzed, both human skeletal remains from cremations and animal skeletal remains (mammals and fish), carbonized wood and fruits.
