Santiago de Cuba y su sistema defensivo, siglos XVII-XVIII

Abstract

En el texto se analiza la defensa marítima del suroriente cubano, determinada en virtud de la protección del Caribe español durante los siglos XVII-XVIII, a través del perfeccionamiento del sistema de fortalezas y un reordenamiento de los recursos locales en virtud de su protección frente a los intereses coloniales de las potencias extranjeras.
