Aproximación a los "Festivals" a través de la literatura infantil en lengua inglesa

Abstract

En este trabajo reflexionamos sobre la conveniencia de utilizar la Literatura Infantil como plataforma para abordar y explotar los aspectos socioculturales de la lengua extranjera. En la propuesta didáctica que presentamos haremos un recorrido por las fiestas anglosajonas más conocidas (Guy Fawkes Night, Pancake Day, Easter, April Fool´s Day, Christmas, Hallowe´en) sirviéndonos de muestras de la Literatura Infantil (tradición oral, poesía de autor, cuentos, etc...) como base para nuestro trabajo en el aula.
