RESUMEN: El propósito de este artículo es mostrar la importancia de la redde relaciones que un alumno puede llegar a construir cuando seenfrenta a un concepto matemático y su estrecha relación con laidea de estructura en el modelo educativo de Van Hiele. Además,que la comprensión de la forma como funcionan las estructurasen el proceso de pensamiento permite el diseño de material didáctico que favorece en el alumno el proceso de aprendizaje delas matemáticas.
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this article is to show the importance of the netof relations that a student could get to build when facing amathematical concept and its close relationship with the idea ofstructure in the Van Hiele educational model.
