Electroacoustic music in Spain, as well as sound art, makes up a catalog that is usually forgotten on the academic spheres and which requires an exhaustive study. The lack of a complete and objective historiography, plus the peculiarities of the repertoire (contemporaneity, interdisciplinary tendency, need of technology for its development…), makes Spanish electroacoustics as a field of reflection, an opportunity to recover a part of the Spanish musical heritage of the twentieth century. At the same time, it will allow us to reason about contextual issues that go beyond the musical event, such as the necessary deliberation related to the digital humanities, the transformation of the spaces and holders of the sound fact or the analysis and assessment of the new tools for sound creation, among others. We thus build a History of Spanish electroacoustics through not only the works and their artists, but also the environment, their development and the various reflections that we can draw from it all
