Wage inequality due to gender is being discovered as one of the realities that show that the right to work is far from being a universal right, even though political constitutions and legislation prescribe equal opportunities between women and men. Although the legislation explicitly referred to the equality of women and men makes the rules more explicit, it is essential that transparency be imposed as a requirement that obliges companies to publish the salaries of men and women, especially when the women who feel discriminated request it. Transparency is a good instrument to correct what is called “pay gap” between men and women
