1 separador y 9 fichas que forman unidad. El separador, orlado en verde, lleva por título “Lenguaje figurado”. El conjunto recopila ejemplos de juegos de palabras, hipérbatos y denominaciones metafóricas y abstractas en las obras de sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Gerardo Lobo, Bances Candamo y Cañizares. Las fuentes usadas son: Cruz, sor J. I. de la (1648-1695): “Fama y obras posthumas del fenix de Mexico”, tomo II (ed. Madrid, 1725), - Lobo, E. G. (1679-1750): “Obras poéticas” (ed. Cádiz, 1717), - Mesonero Romanos, R. de (1858) (ed. lit.): “Dramáticos posteriores a Lope de Vega”, tomo II (en Biblioteca de Autores Españoles, vol. XLIX), - RAE (1726-1739): “Diccionario de Autoridades”, 6 tomos. Las fichas 2 y 3 están mecanografiadas, tienen anotaciones de Menéndez Pidal y son apaisadas, por lo que están volteadas. La ficha 4 está escrita por María Goyri y tiene anotaciones de Menéndez Pidal. La ficha 6 está escrita por una mano no identificada, tiene anotaciones de Menéndez Pidal y tiene estampado un sello con la referencia de la obra de la que está extraída la información de la ficha. La ficha 9 está escrita por otra mano no identificada y también tiene anotaciones de Menéndez Pidal
