Abstract

Conjunto de 1 separador y 6 fichas que forman unidad. El separador lleva por título “mudéjares y moriscos”. El verso lleva por título “moriscos y moros”. El conjunto trata sobre el origen del término mudéjar, sobre los moros latinados, sobre el censo de población morisca y mudéjar. Explica que los moriscos del siglo XV y XVI ignoraban el árabe y que había poblaciones exclusivamente moriscas en Castilla en tiempos de los Reyes Católicos. Las fuentes usadas o mencionadas en el conjunto son “La leyenda del abad don Juan de Montemayor” (ed. de R. Menéndez Pidal, 1903, en “Gesellschaft fiir Romanische Literatur”, tomo 2), - Mármol Carvajal, L. de (1600): “Historia de la rebelión y castigo de los moriscos del reino de Granada”, en Rosell, C. (1866): “Estado social y político de los mudéjares de Castilla considerados en sí mismos y respecto de la civilización española”, - Paz y Meliá, A. (1914): “El cronista Alonso de Palencia: su vida y sus obras, sus ‘Décadas’ y las ‘Crónicas’ contemporáneas, ilustraciones de las ‘Décadas’ y notas varias”.
