Abstract

1 separador y 8 fichas que forman unidad. El conjunto versa sobre la secularización de la cultura, la implantación del romance como lengua escrita y la relegación del latín para actos públicos. Incluye información sobre las primeras universidades (Palencia, Valladolid, Salamanca, Sevilla, entre otras). Se ofrecen datos históricos de los periodos 1140-1200 sobre el fin del imperio de Alfonso VII y el esplendor de Fernando II, también datos biográficos de Roger II, rey de Sicilia. Se comenta el hecho de que el romance invade géneros distintos a la epopeya y comienzan las literaturas vulgares como el “Poema del Mio Cid”. Se incluyen las referencias bibliográficas de las que se parte (Ríos, Ortiz, Domínguez Bordona, Lavisse, “Revista de Filología Española” X, 1923, p. 353). Las páginas 2-4 están pegadas
