Este trabajo parte de la constatación de un vacío teórico-crítico, al menos aparente, en el pensamiento literario de los siglos XVI y XVII que es necesario analizar para el mejor conocimiento de nuestro objeto de estudio: la sátira en el Romancero nuevo. El estudio consta, así, de tres fases: en primer lugar, la delimitación teórico-crítica de la sátira en el pensamiento literario de los siglos XVI y XVII; en segundo lugar, la relación del modelo expresivo-referencial de la sátira con el género estructural-estrófico del romance nuevo; finalmente, el estudio de los procedimientos satíricos en un romance representativo de Pedro Liñán de Riaza.
This paper is based on a theorical-critical emptiness constatation, al least apparent, in the literary reflection of XVIth and XVIIth that is necessary to analyze for the best knowledge of our study’s object: the satire in the new Balladry. The following study consists of three phases: first, the theorical-critical delimitation of satire in the literary thought at XVIth and XVIIth centuries; secondly, the relation of satire expressive-referential model with the genre structural-strofic of new Balladry; finally, the study of satirical procedure in a representative baldad of Pedro Liñán de Riaza.
