Abstract

The aim of this paper is to extol the so-called “Charter of Baeza on Agrarian Heritage” revealing its virtues and legal potential to become the basis for the identification and integral protection of the Andalusian agrarian heritage. The paper analyses the feasibility of taking the principles and the values contained in the “Charter of Baeza” as the guiding actions and criteria for the recognition and protection of this heritage. These principles and values are assessed and applied to an specific agrarian place, “Naturales del Sierro”, which is an agroforestry-pastoral farm located in Morón de la Frontera, in the Sierra Sur of Seville.
