El gesto Borges en Piglia

Authors: Gallego Cuiñas, Ana;
Abstract

Abstract: This work proposes to widen the horizons of materialistic discussion of the writer's figurations in the Argentine cultural field. Specifically, I focus on the modes of appropriation of the Borges device by Ricardo Piglia through six authorial gestures, corresponding to three different moments in the evolution of his literary careers: the origin, the exercise of criticism and the performance in the media. The similarities and differences in the implementation of these gestures will be explained, and their political effectiveness in thinking about the value, the importance that this type of operation takes on in the literary and critical fields will be decided.
